Today, I had to travel down to San Carlos for a Caltrain meeting. It lasted several hours. Afterwards, I went to the Skecher outlet store and got 2 new pairs of shoes. They have a deal that if you buy 1 pair, you get a second pair at 50% off. I had to take advantage of the sale.

Had a nice quiet Thanksgiving weekend. Jack and I went to a coworker's of his in Antioch. Had lots of good food. The remainder was nursing our colds.

I realize I have not posted in several months. I am also on Facebook. Today I watched the planes, including the Blue Angels do their test flights in preparation for Fleet Week weekend festivities tomorrow and Sunday. I also notice Oracle World is hear beginning this weekend at Moscone Center. Howard Street between 3rd and 4th is closed. There will be a lot of visitors in the city the next week.

The weekend started out on Friday with Pascal, my French friend from Finland, texting me asking to meet. Due to my prior commitments, I was not able to meet him until early evening. We met and had dinner and it was an enjoyable visit. Pascal is crewing again in Aids Lifecycle.


Got up very early yesterday morning and trekked down to the Cow Palace to cheer on the riders leaving San Francisco for Los Angeles on Aids Lifecycle. It was really an awesome experience to watch the riders leave from the sidelines, having ridden the ride 10 times. I think I will have to ride again next year. The remainder of the day was spent with Jack. It was a really pleasant weekend.

Looks like it is going to be a nice warm and sunny day. I will have to do something outdoorsy!!!

Well I am up getting ready to hit the gym. It is cool out this morning, about 50 degrees and foggy

It looks like the clouds are out there this morning and it feels cool outside. My weather forecast is predicting rain for tomorrow and Saturday. I guess we need the rain so I won't complain. I think I will prepare a cup of hot tea with my toast this morning.

I got my taxes done today and thanks to AT&T taking a lot of taxes out of my vacation check last year, I am getting a very nice tax refund. Looks like it is clearing up outside. Glad the weekend is here.They are predicting the temperature to go into the 70's next week so I will be out riding my bicycle.

Saturday, I discovered I had a broken spoke on my real wheel on my bicycle, not sure how that happened, but in any case, since it is the rainy season, I think I will take the bike in to have the spoke replaced and have a tune up done at the same time Went to see PUSH at the movies on Saturday. It was a really good movie, quite enjoyable. Sunday, Jack and I went to Wondercon at the Moscone Center. We had a really fun time there. All in all, it was really a great weekend, even with on and off showers!!!

Had a pretty busy day today. Had a Caltrain function to attend in Palo Alto. Afterwards, I met my good friend Irene and her sister Aida for lunch. The remainder of the day was relaxing and getting my bike ready for tomorrow evening's Critical Mass bicycle ride
